I am Sebastian Brosche. BJJ black belt. Judo black belt. 500-hour certified yoga teacher. Pilates instructor. And I have been on the mat for 33 years.
I started Yoga for BJJ because I needed it. At 38, my body was breaking down. Herniated discs, chronic stiffness, mornings where I could barely move. I had two choices: quit or figure out how to keep training without destroying myself.
I chose to figure it out.
The system I built is not spiritual yoga. It is not flexibility for Instagram. It is movement restoration, joint preparation, nervous system regulation, and recovery optimization — designed specifically for the realities of grappling.
I have taught this to hobbyists, competitors, and coaches across Europe and the US. My work has been featured by MMA Guru, BJJ World, and Keenan Cornelius. But the validation that matters is this: my students stay on the mat longer. They hurt less. They move better. And they keep training into their 40s, 50s, and beyond.
I live in Portugal with my wife and daughter. I still train four days a week. And I still do my mobility routine every single day.
If you are stiff, sore, or worried your body will not last — I have been there. There is a way through. It is simpler than you think. It just requires consistency.
